Happy Birthday to one of my favorite angels, my Grandma Mary. We gathered with Grandpa and Gigi, Aunt B and Gene-O for cake and balloons. Grandpa held me in his lap and told me a funny story about his Grandpa Erazim (my great-great grandfather-GGGF). He recounted a time when he and Gigi left little baby Mary under Grandpa Erazim's watch while they "slipped away". Once they returned they discovered little Mary had a messy diaper (we call those "poopzasters" at our house) and Grandpa Erazim wasn't quite sure how to handle the challenge; he made the best of the situation by wrapping Mary in a tea towel and was never happier to see them when they arrived. My Grandpa Erazim promises to share more GGGF stories so I have more history to my name.
